KDU Badminton Club

Objective
~The Badminton Club was formed with the objective to provide KDU students with sporting activities after their normal learning hours and as part of their co-curriculum program as required by the institution of higher learning.
~It is also aimed to give better understanding among the students through sports and games and to build up for themselves towards a healthy activities in thier daily lifestyle.
~It is also planned to train themselves to be more responsible if they are keen to serve in the committee of the Club.
~It is also aimed to select good players in order to represent KDU for the annual inter-collegiate games or any competition.

Activities
1. KDU College has provided the students with the facilities to play Badminton.
2. The College has booked a court on every Tuesday from 5.00pm - 7.00pm at the Yesterday's Club located at Peel Avenue (Lebuhraya Peel) near Island Hospital.
3. Selected KDU players also have a choice to join the staff Badminton session on every Wednesday at the Penang Girl Guide Association badminton hall from 5.00p - 8.00pm.
4. In keeping up with the good image of KDU College as one of the local learning institutions to contribute services to the community, it is expected that the Badminton Club will participate actively in the community works in its yearly activities.

Fees
1. Entrance fees of RM5.00 will be collected from new members on recruitment days during the orientation week of each new intake.
2. For each new semester intake, the recruitment exercise will be from 12 Noon - 2.00pm at the foyer next to the canteen.
3. The Committee will decide on the quantum of subscription to be collected from the existing members to run the Club as necessary.
4. The collection will go to the Club fund to buy badminton shuttlecock, for friendly matches and other club activities.
5. The club can also raise fund through any fund raising project.
